Will you join us to protect the Kimberley and Scott Reef? Today!
Hi Clive, The fight against gas expansion is ramping up in WA, and there are so many opportunities coming up for you to get involved. Together, we can show state and federal governments that West Aussies want a real, urgent transition away from fossil fuels to keep the places we love safe. Here are two upcoming events we wanted to let you know about: Rally for A Frack Free Kimberley Tuesday September 9th, Parliament House -12-1pm Fracking is banned in most of the state, so why is the Kimberley any different? As the EPA prepares a major decision on Kimberley fracking, join us to tell the WA Labor government it must protect Kimberley water and ecosystems from destructive gas fracking. RSVP Here! Tell Patrick Gorman MP to Sav Scott Reef Our climate and the precious Scott Reef off the Kimberley coast are both under threat from Woodside’s plans for the Browse gas project. But Browse has no approvals from state or federal governments. Across the country, concerned community members will be gathering at federal MP offices from September 29 – October 5 to share the message with their representatives that Browse gas cannot go ahead. We’ll rally at Patrick Gorman’s office in the electorate of Perth on Friday, September 3rd to handover a petition from constituents and make our voices heard. Join us! RSVP here. If you also want to host an action of your own at your own MPs office, get in touch and we can support you!
