Hi Friends

You may have seen some poor signs down Midland road & Sadler Drive advising the rezoning of  another Development on Midland Road and Sadler Drive called Lot 912.  In short, rezoning for High Density Houses development.

We have an opportunity to comment. please complete the online feedback form via the below link, It’s really easy to do.

https://swanengage.swan.wa.gov.au/proposed-scheme-amendments/lps17-195-amendment-no195-local-planning-scheme-no17

We encourage you to have your say.  We clearly want to retain the Tree canopy and can suggest it is rezoned like “”Bush for Ever / Conservation Regional Reserve or similar””.

We are of the view that this small pocket of Land should be preserved around Kadina Brook.

The next door development Bushmead is well underway and completed in some areas, there are enough High Density Houses in that area.  We should strongly consider the semi rural area that exists and not diminish it further. The animals have been pushed out causing many deaths.

If consideration must be given to a development a Lessons Learned should occur on the current development at Bushmead, which to date has not occured. The Residents in the area should see buffer zones to property and the creek , the land could be saved and made into parkland for all to enjoy.  Buffer Zones should be Increased or at least maintained as a minimum the same as Bushmead not smaller to the Kadina Brook.

It doesn’t make sense to further destroy the semi rural area that exists.

Please have your say on the preservation of this Bushland Lot 912
