Dear Nature Reserves Preservation Group
Please find attached a letter requesting any datasets or information relating to the three species of black-cockatoos, ranging from survey data through to conservation projects and outcomes.
Onshore Environmental in collaboration with Bamford Consulting Ecologists is developing a Species Needs Analysis to inform conservation planning for three species of conservation significant black-cockatoos and specifically, biodiversity offset projects for the impacts arising from Talison Greenbushes Lithium Operations, located in the southwest of Western Australia.
The Species Needs Analysis report will be publicly available on completion, which is scheduled for November 2024. Data made available would be utilised under your conditions of support, to inform the Species Needs Analysis and Talison would reciprocate data sharing, within the constraints imposed by the data providers.
We look forward to receiving your response and welcome further discussion.
