Dear NRPG members and interested,
From the WA Forest Alliance:
Alcoa's proposal to clear a further 9,273 ha of the Northern Jarrah Forest
is now before the EPBC.
We only have until this Friday (29th of July) to call for the proposed
clearing to be assessed under the Federal environment Act.
This is a very quick and early stage in the process of assessment where a
decision is made about whether or not to fully assess environmental impacts.
It is critically important that we say YES, this is a proposal that must be
considered a CONTROLLED ACTION and be assessed at the highest level under
the EPBC Act.
Please have your say, and share with others...
Kind regards,
Steve Gates

Hi all,
Alcoa's referral to clear 9,273ha of Norther Jarrah Forest has come before
the EPBC for review and we only have until Friday to respond.
Fortunately it's a very quick process - it'll literally take you 4-5
minutes.
Please go to https://bit.ly/Alcoa-Huntly-EPBC and feel free to use this
one-page guide to help you answer the question on why it must be considered
a controlled action

Your support is much appreciated.
Thanks very much, Jess
