Biodiversity 2022 – Issues and ActionsHelp save what is left. Our biodiversity is at crisis point. It needs you. It needs our State government. It’s not too late to stop the next extinction. Read our Issues and Actions paper to understand the lack of effective protection, the lack of funding and capacity to protect and manage biodiversity and the Actions needed to help save what is left. A collaboration of conservation/environment groups are raising their voices to ensure that the broader community is aware of this looming catastrophe.  Please share this understanding and continue to join us in our efforts to stop the next extinction.  Advance notice – upcoming talks and walksSave the date for our next WORKSHOP:  Understanding the Environmental Protection Act and How It can Help Save Urban Bushland. Join us on Sunday 20 November from 1:00 pm in exploring the ins and outs of the WA Environmental Protection Act 1986, including recent changes. Understanding the EP Act will help us make better decisions and submissions – resulting in better outcomes for our bushland. The workshop will be led by high profile law experts including Hugh Finn, Curtin University lecturer and Tim Macknay, Environmental Defenders Office. Further details and how to register will be out soon on the UBC website and Facebook page. Not to be missed!
