Merry Christmas!
Dear NRPG members and interested,
Notifying you of changes at City of Kalamunda.
Kind regards,
Steve Gates
President, NRPG Bushcarers
Hi Friends Group Members,
I am emailing you to let you know that I am moving positions within the City of Kalamunda. As of the New Year, I will be working in the Waste Team (in Waste Education/rollout of FOGO bins).
I have really enjoyed this year with you, and I hope that I will still see you around! You never know, I may end up seeing you when we start working on the rollout of FOGO and educating the community about it! Whenever possible, I will still catch up with the environment team and their events as sometimes our messages will cross over (waste management and recycling still impacts the environment) 😊.
In particular, I have appreciated your positivity, willingness to work together and your passion for caring for our local natural areas and the beautiful bush that we have in the City of Kalamunda! I take my hat off to you for your enthusiasm and dedication with getting out there, especially as some of you have found your bodies are not letting you do what you would like to do!
My email address will be the same, but number will change. The best person to contact about Friends Group related matters will be Karl first and then Dallas, for the moment. Their details are:
Karl Kjaerheim (Environmental Strategies and Projects Officer): [email protected] Phone: 9257 9806 Mobile: 0467 963 788
Dallas Lynch (Coordinator, Natural Areas): [email protected] Phone: 9257 9665 Mobile: 0438 609 353
My apologies, I didn’t manage to get a Friends Group newsletter out before finishing but hopefully you have seen the information about the library series in the new year: https://kalamunda.wa.gov.au/our-city/events-workshops/whats-on/environment.
Coordinators, can you please forward this message to members that you may think would like to know.
So, wishing you a fabulous Christmas and festive season and I’m sure I will see some of you around! (My last day here before I go on annual leave is Thursday 22nd December).
Best wishes,
Michelle
