We’re rallying to protect Australia’s native forests
 Dear Steve, My name is Paddy, and I am organising three days of action for native forests in Perth on behalf of Bob Brown Foundation. We’ve got a bunch of actions and activities planned for August, and we really need your help!  WA has announced a date for an end to native forest logging and Victoria has followed suit. Now, we want to see it end across the whole country.That’s why we’ll be holding actions and rallies around Australia from 10–12 August.  Even though native forest logging is ending in WA, there are still threats to the forests and woodlands and we still must call for stronger protection from mining and clearing. There are lots of ways you can get involved. We will be visiting MPs, holding forest actions, making giant black cockatoos with people holding umbrellas and finishing with a massive rally on 12 August.If you want to help out, come to our volunteer information night next Wednesday.When: 6-8pm Wednesday 12 July Where: Lotteries House, 2 Delhi St, West Perth RSVP: Let me know you’ll be coming along by emailing me.We have posters ready to go, so if you would like to download and print a poster and pop it into your window or around your neighbourhood, you can do so here.You can also sign up to volunteer with us through this form and I’ll be in touch with you to chat about how you can help!
