Town Hall Series: Alcoa’s plan for our forests.

By Clive Stubbington

Hi Clive,  Last week we gathered in Pinjarra for the first of our Town Hall Series on Alcoa’s plans for WA’s Jarrah Forests. Concerned locals joined the Jarrahdale Forest Protectors, Peel Environmental Protection Alliance, and other members of the End Forest Mining Alliance to learn about the impacts Alcoa’s expansion plans will have on Perth’s drinking water supply, our precious forest species, people who live near the refinery and the climate. If you missed out, we have plenty more opportunities for you to join us, learn more and take action.
Head to the booking page to save your seat at an upcoming Town Hall.  We only have until August 21st 2025 to submit comments to the WA Environment Protection Authority on Alcoa’s forest mining plans. Now is the time to act!
