Subject: Thanks very much for joining ‘The Hills are Alive’!

Hi all,

Thank you for being such an engaged audience at last night’s event, The Hills are Alive!

Not only did you fill the room, but we had an incredible 85 questions submitted and almost 600 votes cast – there’s clearly a huge appetite to learn more about where your candidates stand on a range of climate and environment issues. We only got to the top three questions last night, but we look forward to asking some of the others when we meet with the future Member for Bullwinkel.

In the spirit of learning more about each party’s policy positions as you plan your own vote, we thought you might like to check out the climate and nature scorecard we mentioned at the event. CCWA has sourced these scorecards from the Australian Conservation Foundation, who have performed extensive assessments on the major parties and their stances on nature, renewables, and nuclear. You can read all about their process here.

There’s still time to join our team of volunteers aim to distributing these scorecards at polling booths on Saturday – if you want in, please follow this link to sign up!

Enjoy your weekend and happy voting,

Matt
