Note: NRPG does not support the Future Forest Policy in its draft form because we believe there is insufficient protection for existing trees across the city, and that it is not clear how the Urban Forest Strategy goal of 30% canopy coverage, can be achieved without protecting trees on both public and private land. NRPG will be making a survey submission.

Caution: When you complete the survey, note that the first question asking if you support the policy, can be misinterpreted:

o       If answering NO, then it can be taken that you do not want any tree policy.

o       If answering YES, then it can be taken that you are not concerned about the protection of trees on private land.
